Healing With Energy
Each person carries a unique energy within them, referred to as the energy field. Throughout life, we all experience an extent of physical, mental, and emotional distress that shifts this energy. However, when we undergo extreme distress, anxiety, or trauma, our energy fields can stagnate, becoming severely imbalanced.
Luckily, there are several ways to bring the body, mind, and spirit back into harmony. The methods I practice do precisely that, working to level those imbalances. Reiki and Sound Healing enhance relaxation and stimulate your body’s natural healing processes.
If you are new to these practices, know that all healing is self-healing. As an Energy Practitioner, I am simply a conduit for energy to flow. If you’re interested in beginning this healing journey with me, please reach out to schedule a free consultation.
“Reiki. Calms the mind. Empowers the soul. Fills the heart with compassion.”

Description text goes hereReiki is translated as “Universal Life Energy” and also is referred to as “ghost-force” in Japanese, due to its mysterious nature. In the medical field, it is classified as a biofield therapy or a bioelectromagnetic-based therapy. It is a natural, non-invasive healing modality that uses energy transference to promote overall well-being. It is through the intention of the sender, as well as the willingness of the receiver, that this practice can help facilitate the flow of your subtle energy field.

Reiki can be sent through time and space. If this seems hard to understand, consider that our thoughts and emotions are intangible forms of energy, and aren’t bound by the physical realm. In the same way that our phones can have us talking to someone on the other side of the world, distance healing works in the time/space that you need and ask for it. It can even be sent to you in the past or future, to help you release old traumas, or to give you a sense of peace and relaxation before or after some event you expect to be stressful. Distance Reiki is usually not given for a full hour like most other Reiki sessions, but is given in 15-30 minute increments. When I give Distance Reiki sessions, I usually give 2 consecutive days of 30 minute sessions each day. It can be sent while you’re sleeping if you wish, although I’ve found it to be most beneficial while the person is awake and able to really be present for their healing. It is also a beneficial practice so that the person can be in a comfortable place in their own home or bed.

I mainly use tuning forks in my sound sessions. I have weighted forks that are pressed against the body along acupuncture meridians, as well as unweighted forks that are held above the body. This works on a bioenergetic level to get your cells vibrating at the same frequency and getting the body “tuned up.” I’ve used elements of Acutonics, Biofield Tuning, and the Tune and Heal method, although I’ve found through researching and working with multiple types of healing, that my approach is intuitive in nature and doesn’t adhere specifically to any one modality.

Similar to a Reiki session, it’s good to have a glass of water beforehand, as sound moves much faster through water. You’ll need to be wearing comfortable clothing (preferably no jeans.) Shoes, glasses, and any obstructions around the wrists or feet must be removed.

The Raindrop Technique is another noninvasive practice, where essential oils are placed on the feet and spine in sequence. It’s incredibly relaxing and helpful in supporting the immune system. Many of the oils used have antiviral and antibacterial properties, encouraging cleansing of the body’s systems. It can also ease muscle discomfort and soothe inflammation. It promotes positive feelings and can relieve stress. It’s not recommended for children, pregnant women, or people with severe autoimmune problems.
